Chapter 29 continues

Vanessa knew when she landed she was far too distraught, angry, and shaking to drive her own vehicle, so she left her car in the airport parking lot and hailed the first taxi cab she saw at the curbside of the terminal. Her palms were sweating profusely, her heart was racing, her mind reeling with all manners of adulterous visions, as she sat in the back seat rocking back and forth a little, her mouth was dry and she said nothing to her driver, other than to give him the address of her home; which she shared with her husband. It was a short twenty minute ride across the city to the marina and Vanessa dreaded each mile that brought her closer, because she knew what she would find. Sure enough, as the taxi pulled up across the street, Vanessa felt a deep sinking feeling in the pit of her stomach as she spied a little, silver convertible Mercedes parked in the driveway, of HER house, where she lived, for many years, with HER husband. Vanessa was so overcome by this sight she felt as if she were falling down, even though she was still seated. The driver tried to get her attention so she would pay the fare and get out of his cab, and when he turned to look at her, he saw all the color had drained from her face and she looked as if she had just seen a ghost.
She did not remember paying the driver, nor could she recall walking across the busy street full of morning day traffic and as she moved it seemed to her as if this all was happening to someone else, Vanessa almost felt as if she were viewing herself from above, as if she were watching herself in some dream, but no, this was a true nightmare of reality. Vanessa was not sure how she had entered the house, for she did not remember unlocking the door, or slowly closing it behind her as she crept down the hall so early on that Saturday morning. Inch by inch she walked down the corridor Vanessa's raw emotions were electrified by the sound of a woman's voice, an American woman's voice saying in ecstasy "Oh Camacho, fuck me harder!"
The next moment was crucial. Vanessa had two choices, confront her husband and his American whore in her bed.., or turn around and walk away. However, Jealousy is a harsh and cruel master which had her heart locked in it's iron fist, so all of her bitterness, and vengeful anger, surpassed all of her reason and Vanessa continued to walk on down the hall. Then she came to her bedroom door, and she looked inside. Shock, shock, horror, horror, shock, shock, horror! There, in her bed, the bed she shared with her husband, Vanessa found Camacho mounted atop a young woman, her knees up and she was moaning with his delight, though the two devils did not notice Vanessa standing there. Mortified Vanessa stepped back towards the threshold of the doorway, her eyes as wide as saucers, her shaking hands covering her mouth, and for the first time in her life she found she could not speak. Though she tried to cry out, to make them stop, but when she attempted to form the words, no sound would come. Vanessa's fragile mind was so traumatized by the salacious sight of her naked husband thrusting himself, joyously, in and out of his whore, the two of them breathing hard, sweating, sticky, kissing and licking each other. Vanessa was disgusted she went out into the hall feeling as if she would vomit. In silence, her mind ever darkening, Vanessa went back the way she came, tears streaming down her face, as she took in short, quick breaths trying her best not to make a sound. As Vanessa made her way to the kitchen, where she kept her gun, a strange stream of consciousness flooded her thoughts and as if her mind wanted her to remember.
The logic came in a loud thunder in her brain, like lightning flashing across the sky. Vanessa remember her existence, thus far,  being the pampered wife of a rich and famous man, had given her very little opportunity for fury. So it was Vanessa gave up her will to the rapture of the malevolent hatred in her heart; which demanded of her that these two devils must die TODAY! Such was the vile bitterness in her soul and it is not right that any woman should be forced to endure such humiliation, at anytime of her life. Oh the World would be a more tranquil place, if adulterous men, and women, would not come in and break it up, very often, the love which a faithful spouse does cherish. Though this was Vanessa's fate, to have her faith in her husband shaken to it's foundation, leaving the shell of their marriage in ruins.
It was a little pearl handle .22 her husband had purchased for her, to keep at the house so she would feel safe when she was alone, while Camacho was away. She kept it in a cigar box on top of the refrigerator. Now Vanessa did not know how she wound up in the kitchen at the table with the gun in her hand, she could still hear the cries of pleasure emanating from her bedroom, and now Vanessa realized she could not, nor understand any longer, or recall, such words as: feelings, compassion and understanding, tears, love, joy, fear, unity, mercy or pity, longing, faith or God. Her heart had become like that of a savage, blood-thirsty beast, Vanessa believed now she herself was like a wild, ferocious, man-eating tiger, she was sharp of tooth and claw. She wanted revenge and nothing more.

More Chapter 29

"Sister dear, I'm here." Leah's voice came over the phone about an hour or so later.
"Where are you?" Lexa asked wondering if she had been foolish enough to bring Camacho to Xation's family villa in the city.
"Oh God, I'm at his house, it is magnificent, right on the ocean, by the Marina, he's going to take me out sailing on his boat this afternoon, I am so glad I brought., your, bikini's!" Leah informed her sister with a great lightness and elan to her voice.
"His house!?" Lexa replied worried "Where the fuck is his wife?"
"Oh don't worry.., she's in Santiago, apparently her brother was in a motorcycle accident yesterday, she won't be back for days.., and I am leaving Sunday morning.., so everything will be fine." Leah tried to reassure her sister and quell any trepidation Lexa might be feeling.
"Okay.., well, have a good time, put on plenty of sunscreen, you burn easily out on the open water." Lexa reminded her.
"Thanks mom." the two sisters had a little laugh together and then Leah said "I love you, see ya on Sunday."
"Love ya too, see you Sunday sweetheart." Lexa hung up the phone and settled back down in Leah's bed not realizing those would be the last words she ever said to her twin sister.
So it was, the day passed for Leah and Camacho out on the warm South Atlantic, it was a glorious afternoon filled with sunshine, fresh seafood, cold champagne, strawberries and grapes. The amorous, adulterous couple enjoyed the fresh ocean air, the calm waters and each other's company. Later, below deck, with the captain at the helm, Camacho took Leah into the little cabin where the two stripped off each others swim wear, exposing the brown and white parts of their bodies, where the sun had not shone upon their skin, where each took in the extreme, exquisite pleasure of each other's mouth and flesh, giving in to their lustful sin. And, once, again the pair had succeeded in betraying their spouses without a care for the sanctity of the vows they had sworn before God, family and friends. The concept of Unity, Loyalty, Respect, and Honor meant absolutely nothing to them now. Such is the way of the world, filled with all the empty, foolish, heartless people who exist merely to dwell in it from day to day. But in truth, Camacho did not give a fuck about his wife, nor his vows, or her feelings, all he cared about was satisfying his rapacious, desirous urges and Leah was no different then he, and any thoughts she had of loyalty to Xation were as far away from her mind as the sun was from the moon.
It was a wonderful day for the duo sailing along the coast line of Argentina for hours and they did not make it back to Camacho's house until just after sunset. The two went into the home Camacho shared with his wife of three years, Vanessa; whom was beside herself with grief at the bedside of her younger brother whose left leg was injured so badly in the high speed crash, it had to be amputated just above the knee. However, Camacho was not aware of this because he had turned his mobile phone off, and his distraught wife could not get through to him all day long. Now when Camacho returned to his spacious home he deliberately unplugged all the telephones in the house, as not to be disturbed, so he could enjoy his new mistress, Leah, in peace. Leah, as well as Camacho, were exhausted from their long afternoon out on the water, swimming in the ocean, rolling in the deep, between the sheets. They decided to take a long, hot shower together to get nice and clean. Leah was so enraptured by Camacho's charm, charisma, and indeed his very existence, she got down on her knees before him through the heat, water and steam where she took him in her mouth, long, hard and deep. Now this is something his wife would NEVER, ever, under any circumstance do to him, or for him, and this is one of the reasons Camacho had been much displeased in his marriage to Vanessa. However, this woman, Leah, the wife of another man knew just what to do to bring him fully to the desire he so wished to please. After a few more heated moments of mutual pleasure the pair collapsed on his massive bed in a weary heap of spent flesh, it was nice to lie together with each other on top of the crisp cool sheets, the gentle breeze of the ceiling fan chilling their sunburned skin. Then Camacho, his arms around Leah said "Let's get under the covers and watch a movie before we go to bed." this was something he always did with his wife and Camacho had a vast collection of movies on video cassette and a big screen t.v.
"What shall we see?" Leah asked with a warm glance and a gentle smile, her bright green eyes lit up like dazzling emeralds.
"Have you heard of this new director, Quentin Tarantino?" he asked going straight to the video he wanted to watch.
Leah gave a puzzled look and answered honestly "I don't know much about films, or directors."
"True Romance!" Camacho said as he slipped the video into the v.c.r. "It came out last year. This guy, Tarantino, he's amazing!" Camacho said as he pressed play then elucidated " The story is shocking and violent..,  a modern day love story, kinda like Bonnie and Clyde, but much better, cause none of this ever really happened.., or did it?" Camacho gave a sly smirk and the two laughed as they curled up in bed together, turned off the lights, and watched the film, never realizing it would be the last movie they wold ever see.
Meanwhile back at the hospital in Santiago, Vanessa was growing more and more angry by the minute, for she needed her husband to be there for her during this great tragedy in her family, but his mobile phone went straight to voice mail, he had not returned the 37 messages she had left for him, nor did he return the 25 text messages she kept sending, and now when she tried to call their home, the phone just kept ringing and ringing and ringing, the answering machine did not pick up and she knew that could only mean one thing, her husband had unplugged the phones, so the machine never was activated. Now a great panic rose up in her wounded heart, for Vanessa was well aware of her husband's mistresses, and his numerous affairs, but due to her great affection for him, and because of his great wealth and fortune, she had looked the other way, but they had an arrangement, an agreement between them, that he would NEVER bring one of his whores back to their home, where she lived and had shared her bed with her husband. Now Vanessa feared the worse and she told her mother so, though Vanessa's mother told her daughter not to worry, to focus her attention on helping her brother cope with this disaster, but no matter how hard Vanessa tried she could not get her mind off the thought of some random whore sleeping in her bed. For when she closed her eyes that was all she could see as she tossed and turned in her hotel bed, trying to go to sleep. However, when Vanessa's mother came to wake her for breakfast before they were to return to the hospital, she found Vanessa had checked out hours earlier, and was now just arriving at the airport, a little after 7 o'clock that Saturday morning, in Buenos Aires, her heart was racing and her thoughts left her in a panicked state nearing homicidal rage.

Chapter 29 begins

Now the next morning, bright and early, Leah had gone down into Lexa's room, packing up a little overnight bag with her sister's clothes, shoes, make-up, sundries and the like. Leah put on one of Lexa's  sexy little sundresses, and a pair of her red high heels, with straps around the ankles, Leah removed her wedding ring and handed it to Lexa, telling her. "This is just until Sunday, and then everything will go back to normal." Lexa slipped the expensive, rare diamond ring on her finger, as she had done in the past, but that was just for a laugh, but now Lexa would have to wait for two days before she would have to give it back, all part of the elaborate charade the twins were creating. So it was, Lexa gave over her own jewelry, handbag, identification, phone, keys to her car etc... during this exchange Lexa could not help feel uneasy, knowing this was going to be mistake. However, it was the sheer delight and sparkle in Leah's gleaming, green eyes, that Lexa had not seen in a long time, for Leah was so full of excitement ready for a little forbidden romantic adventure; which made Lexa keep her peace and hold her tongue. With much worry, Lexa put on her sister's night gown, robe and slippers then the two went upstairs to Leah's room where the two sat on the edge of the bed, Leah holding her son in her arms, lovingly kissing him on the forehead, stroking his silken, wispy strands of jet black hair.
"Now you be a good boy for mommy, my little angel, I will be back in a few days." Leah said not realizing this would be the last time she ever would hold her child again. With a gentle kiss Leah gave her boy over to her dear, sweet, non-judgemental sister telling her "Thank you so much! I need to get away so bad.., before I go mad.., and, well.., I could not do this, without you." Leah said hugging them both in her arms.
"We will be fine, there is plenty of formula in the 'fridge, now go on.., hurry before I change my mind." Lexa said as she was just about to call off the whole agreement, but she did not. "Just promise me you will be back here on Sunday."
"I promise, sister dear, you will see me again on Sunday." Leah said with a warm gentle smile "And besides.., when have I ever broken a promise to you?"
Here Lexa felt for a quick moment as though a deep piece of her soul had been touched with warmth and love by her sister's devotion to her and Leah opened up her mouth and said "Never."
"That's right sweetheart.., never." Leah reminded Lexa, who gave her a kiss on the cheek, trying her best to look pleased, but she was not, quite the contrary. Here Lexa had one last moment to stop everything, but Lexa remained silent then Leah said  "So enjoy your time with Jason, I am sure he will be more than enough to keep you busy.., but remember, Aphina and Carlo are here, and they love to take care of him too, so you can always sleep in.., if you want to."
"No, I think it will be fun to be you, just for a day or two, though I am sure I will be more than happy to hand him back over to you.., soon!" Lexa laughed knowing that caring for six month old baby was a monumental task, in and of itself, indeed, but Lexa could handle it, and her sister knew she was leaving her son in capable hands. "Just go and have a good time, be safe and call me when you get to the city, and call me tonight.., and if I text you, text me right back A.S.A.P., Okay girlie?"
"Alright.., sure no problem, fine." Leah smiled with a little laugh, happy for her sister's concern for her safety and well being. "Now.., I have to get out of here and start my little adventure!" Leah said enthusiastically as she gave her sister and her son a little squeeze. "I will call you when I get to Buenos Aires and I will see you both on Sunday morning."
"Okay, goodbye." Lexa said as she sat back on the edge of the bed, cradling Jason in her arms and as he played with the long golden curls cascading around her shoulders, Lexa watched as her sister turned and left the room, Lexa could hear the click, click, of her heels as Leah walked down the hall. Lexa sat there listening to the footfalls of her sister as she went down the steps, crossed the foyer going out the front door. Lexa stood up with the babe in her arms as she went over to the window and watched Leah climb into her car, the little silver, convertible Mercedes that Charles never drove anymore, not since he had the Bugatti. With a rev of the engine Lexa felt her pulse quicken as her heart began to race, she felt a wave of heat rise up to her face as she stared out the window, watching her sisterm Leah, drive away, completely unaware that she would never see her sister, alive, again.

End Chapter 28

Lexa gave her sister a curious look then she said "What are you scheming in that head of yours..,sister dear?"
"You remember back in high school, and college, when you were too hungover to take some of your exams.., and I would take your I.D. and your car, then go in your place?"
Lexa nodded her head as she gave a roll of her eyes, knowing where Leah was going with the conversation. "Yes.., we've traded places, on many occasions. Why?" Lexa said with a bit of frustration in a low voice.
"I want to get away.., just for two days! However, the only way to do so is to switch places with you, and you pretend to be me, just for Friday and Saturday, I swear to sweet Mother Mary! I will be home in time for brunch on Sunday afternoon. If you will help me. Don't you understand how lonely I am! I'm so alone and frustrated, virtually forgotten about by my husband, I fell like I am stuck in a cage! Of my own making, I allowed this to happen to me." Leah said suddenly grasping her sister by both hands, squeezing tightly as she implored for Lexa to help her once more. "Lexa! Do you know why a lion paces back and forth endlessly in it's cage?" Lexa shook her head no and then Leah said "It is not out of anger or rage.., it is strictly out of embarrassment!" Leah wept "I let Xation catch me in his net.., I let my husband do this to me, ignore me, place me in my exquisite, gold and marble cage! And I don't know if I can ever forgive myself, or him."
After Leah pleaded her case, a long silence filled the room, you could have heard a pin drop as Lexa got up from her bed and went over and looked the door. Then she turned to her sister who sat wide-eyed, anxiously awaiting Lexa's decision. Lexa paced along the floor for a moment, her hands behind her back deep in thought, a sickening, sinking feeling welling up in her stomach, a darkness clouding her heart and mind. Lexa did not want to help her sister, she felt this would be the worst possible thing she could ever do, for deep in Lexa's soul she knew this could only prove disastrous if they were caught. However, Lexa knew they were both masters at the art of deception, for being completely identical they had started to practice fooling people at an early age, why their own parents still had trouble telling then apart to this day. "I..," Lexa paused then began to speak again, this time with her arms folded across her chest "Are you absolutely positive this is something you want to do Leah.., cheat on your husband, be unfaithful to Xation, the father of your beloved, and most precious, son?"
"I need to get out of this house and be free to have a little fun my dear sister, or I am sure to lose my mind, and besides.., no one will ever know, Xation won't find out, he's in Augusta, Georgia, at a golf match.., for God's sake!" Leah retorted in a desperate voice sounding more like an incarcerated prisoner, more so than a house wife. "Please Lexa! Don't stand in the way of this little bit of happiness.., you do want me to be happy.., don't you?"
"Of course I do!" Lexa snapped back insulted by her question for all the love she had in the world, and the blood that coursed through her veins, and the fear she had in her heart was for her dearest, and most beloved sister Leah. Then Lexa took in a deep breath, her hands shaking a little from the great mix of emotions welling up inside her mind "I'm just worried about you.., because I love you so much!" here Lexa burst into tears; which streamed down her red cheeks "You're all I have in this World, and I don't ever want to lose you!"
"There, there sweetheart! I'm not going anywhere! All I am asking is to just get out of this tomb, of a house, and go to the city for two days.., be treated like a beautiful woman is supposed to be cared for, by a young, strong, handsome man, who knows how to take care of a neglected and needful woman.., like me."
"I see..," Lexa realized she could not keep her sister from what she so desired, she knew Leah would get out some how, some way, with or without Lexa's help or approval, that wild lioness would surely escape from her cage, for she saw the devious look in Leah's eyes. "Fine, tell me what you have planned and I will help you.., because I'm afraid if I do not,  you will strike out on your own, and.., well, then it will only go horribly pear-shaped, and I want you to be safe. So I will pretend to be you, but just until Sunday! And if you are not back by noon.., then I will come and find you, and then you won't be having any fun at all" as those words passed her lips Lexa felt an icy wave run up and down the length of her spine moving through her legs and arms, right down to her fingertips.

Chapter 28 continues

"Aphina!" Leah said as her, and her sister, finally made it back to the Estate the following morning at half past ten "We are soooo sorry we didn't make it back last night. I tried calling but was too drunk, couldn't find my cell phone." Leah said trying to convince her mother-in-law that this was truth, or at least part of it any way. But we who are wise, who can tell a liar when we hear one, know first, and foremost, a truthful person will only try to CONVEY information, but a liar will always try to CONVINCE you they are telling the truth. However, Aphina, even with her age and wisdom was not able to recognize a lie when she heard one, even if it was a half-truth.
"Oh my darlings, I am glad you had a good time and made the wise decision not to drink, and drive, besides, as long as you are home safe now, that is all that matters." Aphina smiled graciously for she loved the two American beauties as if they were her own children. "Come, we were just about to have brunch."
So it was Leah and Lexa went inside with all of the numerous shopping bags, and countless boxes of expensive high heeled shoes. The twins had also, on their shopping spree, purchased  matching gold bracelets which had a diamond encrusted X charm, and Leah and Lexa were delighted to present one each to Felina, Serena and Aphina, whom were even more delighted to receive the thoughtful gift and Aphina was quite touched by this noble display of Unity, Loyalty, Respect and Honor. For over the last few weeks the women had all been able to grow closer to one another and appreciate each other's company, and every pleasant quality they all possessed. Leah and Felina had forgiven one another for everything, and both agreed to bury the past in it's grave, and in there beleaguered hearts, they prayed that it's ghost would never haunt them again. That morning, all sat around the family table, Carlo was not feeling well as last night Bengiman  had stayed up late drinking and talking to with old man, whom he considered his own father, so Leah's father-in-law was still in bed. As for our poor, dejected Bengiman, he sat at the table, mainly stuffing his face, saying little with a cold, distant look on his face, for he was suspicious of the twins the moment they were late for dinner last night, and would not answer their mobile phones. He had wanted to go straight down to the city and find out where Xation's wife, and her whore of a sister, Lexa, were, and just what it was they were both up to, however, Aphina had seen this look in his eyes, and she knew well the Englishman's passion, and jealousy, over Lexa, so Xation's mother forbade Bengiman from leaving the property, and to make sure he could not, Aphina confiscated all the car keys, for Aphina wanted the two girls to enjoy their time together. Of course both Leah and Lexa never mentioned Camacho or Phillipe, now as for Lexa, she had hoped, and prayed, that she would never hear anything more about Camacho ever again. However, not more than 3 days later, Leah was up, late one night, just after finally getting little Jason to sleep, she and Lexa were listening to INXS on the stereo, eating strawberry Hagen-Daz ice cream, when Leah turned to Lexa and said "I miss him so much."
From the look in her twin sister's eyes, Lexa knew who she meant but asked "Who? Your husband? Or your.., boxer boyfriend?"
Leah gave her sister an unwelcome smirk saying "You know who I'm talking about." then she confessed to her sister "We have been sending each other text messages.., on my cell-phone."
Lexa shot her sister a deadly serious look imploring "I suggest you stop that right the fuck now! Are you out of your mind?! Bring me your phone now! We have to delete all the messages." here Lexa's voice rose in a desperate panic, as if she were the one trying to hide an illicit affair.
"Don't worry, I never save them.., besides I'm up here now, way out in the country, when will I ever get the chance to see him again." Leah lamented, feeling like, as though, once she was home, she felt more like she was locked down in a penitentiary.., more so, than actually living in the lap of luxury. Whatever the case,  Leah knew her feelings did not matter in the grand scheme of things, her husband was in control of everything. Based upon what she had experienced in her 'sacred and holy marriage', it was as if she gave up her free will when she got married. With these quick, feared thoughts in her head, Leah looked at her sister, who sat across the bed, then she told a sad little story, and tears came to Leah's eyes when she recalled the tale asking her dear sister "Remember.., Uncle Bobby.., his sweet little ride?
"The '69 Stingray?" Lexa said recalling instantly the flashy British Racing Green convertible. 'Oh hell yeah, me and you would always get into a fight over who got to take the first ride, only room for two.., remember?"
"Uncle Bobby loved that machine.., always lovingly caring for it, polishing it, waxing it every Sunday after church.., all the long trips 'round the Pacific Coast Highway." Leah said a surge of deep emotion welling up in her heart and her words.
"Yeah so what about it?" Lexa said perplexed as she had another spoonful of cold, delicious ice cream.
"Well, what happened to it, tell me."
Here Lexa felt a wave of sadness envelope her as she recalled their Uncle's untimely demise, dead of a massive stroke at the age of 39. "After his funeral, Aunt Sally locked it up in the garage, covered it with a tarp.., and no one has seen it.., in years."
"Why did she do that, Lexa.., why do you think? Take his prized possession, and lock it up and throw away the key. What could the reason ever possibly be?" Leah inquired with the tone of a detective.
"I never thought about it, but.., I have feeling, you are going to tell me." Lexa said putting her pint of ice cream away, for now, thinking of her dead uncle, and the fate of the much beloved magnificent Corvette.., left her stomach ill at ease.
"Don't you see? Aunt Sally hated that car! She never rode in it, couldn't stand the sight of it, and.., I noticed this, and I remember, when I was about 13, I asked her about it, and she said, 'I hate that car, because he spends more time, and attention, with that.., machine, than he ever does with me'." here Leah paused becoming very emotional and she sobbed on her sister's shoulder telling Lexa "I feel like that fine piece of machinery, like my husband bought a Ferrari, parked me in his garage, covered me with a tarp, shut the doors and locked me up. Only deciding to come and take me out for a drive.., of course, at his leisure, only when it is convenient for Xation, leaving me on my own, like a doll on a shelf, or a fine vintage of champagne, a rare bottle, stuck on a long forgotten, dark shelf, down in a cold basement, just waiting for him to taste me on his lips again."
"There, there, sister dear, you are just getting all worked up, and need to stop thinking of these things." Lexa tried to persuaded her sister's mind to a better, happier path.
"Well, am I wrong,? Are any of my words untrue?" Leah said wide-eyed and in extreme mental anguish by the sheer emotional and physical neglect of her husband, the legal term being 'alienation of affection', and this could have easily been grounds for divorce.., in the United States, but Leah and Xation had been married in Argentina, and the law is a little different there.
Lexa sighed, mulling over Leah's question and she shook her head and said. "No, I know how Xation treats you, I see the absence is killing you.., little by little, each and every day.., I know how you feel and I wish I could make it all go away." here Lexa began to weep saying through sobs "I wish we could go back to the way we were before, I wish we never went Hawaii!" here Lexa began crying like a woman in mourning for a love that is dead and gone.
"No! God damn it! Don't ever say that!" Leah said angered, almost choking on her breath as she exclaimed "No! Because.., if that were true! I wouldn't haven't my little baby boy! And I love him more than anyone, or anything, in this world! And I am sorry, Lexa, but that.., includes you too."
Now this was Lexa's twin speaking to her, face to face, and Lexa sat there on her bed shocked, like a bomb just went off, for in her whole life, Lexa never thought it would ever be possible for her own, flesh and blood sister to ever love anyone more than her, for they had shared the same womb, the same blood, the same D.N.A., nothing had ever come between them, but Lexa had never carried a child for nine months, never suckled a new born life of her own creation. However.., Lexa loved Leah, more than her own life itself, and the deep respect she had for her tortured sister, as a mother, superseded any of Lexa's own petty jealousy, so Lexa took in a deep breath, wiped her tears from her eyes, and said "Yes.., and that is the way it should be.., for you should think about how much jeopardy you could bring to you.., and your son, just for a wee bit of fun, with some young stud." Leah reminded her sister, bringing her back to the starting point of their long conversation.
"But don't you see Lexa, that is my whole point! If I don't get affection from my man, any man, I will go absolutely crazy! And then what good will I be to my little boy.., an embittered, lonely, resentful housewife, frustrated and furious all the time?" Leah paused for a moment then took her sister by the hands telling her "And where do you think my husband is this week.., my darling? At work? Here, with his family? First weekend in April and he is at the Masters PGA event in Augusta, with Hays! When he could have come to see me and our baby!" Leah wept some more, and the sound of her crying broke Lexa's heart to hear "Do you see what I mean? And I am supposed wait three more weeks before I can move to Texas and live with my husband, before I get some attention and affection?"
This was a very trying time, the scope of the situation weighed heavily upon Lexa's mind, but after a moment of silence a strange calmness filled her heart, Lexa brushed the long golden curls out of her sister's eyes and she said in a soft voice, that was most gentile, loving, sweet and kind "I'm sorry Sweetheart, I didn't realize how much your loneliness had taken hold of you.., but what can we do now..? You had a bit of fun, I'm sure, but that's over now. There is nothing more we can do."
Just as those words left her sister's lips, Leah perked up a bit saying, with a look as sly and cunning as a hungry fox "Well.., there is one thing we could do."

Chapter 28 begins

Lexa awoke sometime later, a little after mid-night, she found herself in the cool comfort of a large bed, with white cotton sheets, and a naked Phillipe lying next to her, he was snoring softly, sound asleep. The first thought that came to Lexa's aching head was 'fuck me!', she had got way too drunk and had another one night stand with a man she barely knew, again. Though, from what Lexa could recall of her amorous evening, she did have an exquisite time of it, and Phillipe, being a much older man, had a great deal of knowledge, and much experience at the art of pleasing a woman. Lexa was left intrigued, and this is how she would end up, enticed and seduced into Phillipe's bed. However, as Lexa looked around the darkened room, a second thought came to her head and she shot up in bed saying loudly, waking Phillipe, "Oh my Christ! Where is my sister?" Leah shouted her words coming quickly along with her short, agitated breaths.
"Calmate!" Phillipe said surprised by her sudden outburst "She's in the next room with Camacho." he said then rolled over to go back to sleep.
"Fuck." Lexa said as she jumped out of his bed, naked as the day she came into this world, Lexa hurried from the room, not bothering to cover herself or her nakedness. As she opened up the bedroom door she heard her sister's voice coming from the living room, Lexa peered her head around the corner, whereupon she spied Leah and Camacho sitting close to one another, covered by a blanket, on the sofa watching a movie on T.V. "Leah!" Lexa yelled over at her sister and both she and Camacho jumped a little, startled by the sudden noise.
"God Damn it Lexa! You scared me." Leah said as she felt her pulse quicken. "I see you are finally awake now?" she said teasing her sister somewhat.
"We need to leave! Now!" Lexa said as she darted across the hall into the bathroom, but not fast enough for Camacho to see.
"If you will excuse me." Leah said to Camacho, who paused the V.C.R. so Leah would not miss the last few scenes of the movie, 'The Silence of the Lambs'. "My sister needs to speak with me."
Leah followed Lexa into the bathroom and Camacho could hear the cross words between them as the two began a slight verbal altercation. He heard Leah say ,'well it's easy for you to go and sleep with whomever you want to!', to which Lexa retorted , 'of course, because I am not MARRIED to anyone! There is no ring upon my finger, I am single and can fuck whomever I please!', then there were a few mumbled words he could not make out, then Camacho heard Lexa say in a loud clear voice, 'you have a husband, who loves you! He provides you with the finest things life has to offer.., but you would risk losing all of that.., and for what? For some dumb boxer, who will probably end up as an old man with Parkinson's disease!'. Here Camacho took great offense to Lexa's comment, so he took a deep breath and stepped out onto the balcony overlooking the city and the ocean to have cigarette, so as not to overhear anything more.
"I know your right, Lexa." Leah said with in a small voice and heavy sigh as tears welled up in her green eyes "You just don't understand.., Xation gives me everything I want, but not what, I need."
Here Lexa took a moment to step out of the light of her own moral indignation so she could see, and feel, how much her sister was hurting "I know it's hard being away from his love.., attention and affection, but just a few weeks more Leah.., and you will all be together in Texas, in your new house, a new scene, a different life, so please dear sister, do not forsake your faithfulness to Xation, for just one little sexual experience.., because I can assure you, damaging your relationship with Xation will NEVER be worth it. The affection and attention you receive from any other man, but your husband, will only be met with great difficulties, and not just for you, but your child, and our entire happy, little family."
Now Leah let all this intelligence soak into the buds of her mind, and she knew Lexa was most correct in her information and advice, so she gave her sister a slightly dejected smile then she spoke up saying "I will do my best.., but what's the big deal? Xation is probably cheating on me!"
"And that very well may be.., but you said probably, you don't know for sure.., and besides, sweetheart.., why on Earth would you dare make such a rash, life altering, decision in your marriage, based upon an UNCERTAINTY? The sense you make., is NONE. Please Leah, once you got married, your life, your commitment changed, you can no longer be free and single like me! So stop thinking you can just go out and have a bit of harmless fun. Because you know, as fucking well as I do, If Xation ever found out, or God forbid Felina found out..," Lexa paused as a horrendous foreboding darkened her heart and mind like an ominous shadow, here Lexa felt a tear, or two, well up in her eyes as she continued "Just promise me.., promise you will never speak to Camacho again. He is famous here, any affair you have could easily be publicly exposed. Promise me Leah." Lexa said as she grabbed her sister by the shoulders, her eyes wide in a bit of a panic.
Leah looked at her sister, face to face, and she took a deep breath and said the words "I promise never to see Camacho ever again." Leah said lying through her teeth, for she had every intention of coming back for more, for little did Lexa know, for as she was asleep in bed with Phillipe, Leah and Camacho had done more together than just watch a movie.

End Chapter 27

So their discourse began over a fine meal, and even finer bottles of highly prized wines, in the top-floor restaurant in one of the newly built, premiere, luxury hotels in the Porto district of the city. The thirty story building provided an expansive, magnificent view of the city and the deep blue ocean, as cargo ships and cruise liners could be seen out on the vast South Atlantic, coming and going from far off on the horizon, the sky was the color of Persian turquoise and white wisps of clouds blew in from the east. The view, the meal, the company, was quite pleasing to all as they sat together, laughing, talking, joking, getting to know one another a little better. Even Lexa, who was quite apprehensive about the chemistry building between Leah and Camacho, eventually, after her fourth glass of Burgundy, warmed to the two Latin gentlemens charm. For it was Phillipe himself, being a good manager, began the conversation by extolling the virtues, and fame and wealth of his client, and long time friend. To this Leah and Lexa were indeed impressed, though they had absolutely no idea about the sport of boxing, and had little knowledge to go by, but they knew a successful, intelligent man when they saw one, and Camacho was happy to discuss his storied career. Now after the first course of hearts of palms salad was served and consumed, Camacho changed the subject from himself to the beautiful, foreign women. "So, ladies.., enough about me, I.., we.., Phillipe.., want to know all about you." Camacho smiled giving Leah a wink of his amber eyes.
Here Leah felt the need to brag about her sister's exploits in the professional sports world, but no sooner had Leah begun to open up her mouth Lexa gave her sister a dead serious look as if to say, 'let's not talk about me today'.
Lexa spoke up saying "Well, we are both from San Diego."
"Where, what part?" Phillipe asked for he knew the city well.
     "La Jolla." Leah replied.
"Beautiful area, I love the views of the Pacific from the cliffs." Phillipe said with a gentle smile of fond remembrance on his face.
"Yes.., well, I am here visiting my sister..," Lexa paused directing her next remark to Camacho "Leah lives on a grand estate on the Rio Negro.., with her husband.., and six month old baby."
Camacho smiled and asked Leah sweetly "Then tell me, where is your husband now., here in the hotel with you?"
Leah laughed at the very idea, and then a somber look filled her eyes then she said in small voice "No.., he is not even in the country." now there was just enough of a moment of silence that Leah at once felt she had to justify her marital situation with a brief explanation "My husband has just recently moved the headquarters of his business from Buenos Aires to Dallas."
"Tejas?" Camacho said delighted to know her husband, whom neither women would name, was so very far away, then he realized the great sadness which filled Leah's delicate little heart.
"Yes.., Texas." she responded with a heavy sigh.
"When was the last time you saw him.., your husband?" Camacho inquired with true concern, for he knew a woman's love was like a well tended garden, lush and sweet, not full of thorns, choking vines, and weeds.
"In the last three months he has come to see me, only twice." Leah spoke in all honesty then she closed her eyes, took in a deep breath and said "But that is enough about me, I must stop speaking of such things, lest I loose my appetite altogether, and this all looks so delicious." Leah said as she began eating the fresh grilled swordfish entree.
"So you have a newborn baby? How is that possible!? Your body is exquisite, how did you get back into such great shape so quickly?" Camacho asked amazed this stunning creature had a six month old baby back at home, and neither could Phillipe believe it, for his wife still had not lost any of the weight she gained during her pregnancies, 15 years ago.
"Thank you! What a kind thing to say." Lexa beamed as she said "I swim every morning, horseback ride, yoga, tennis, and sometimes a few rounds of golf."
"Well, Lexa..?" Camacho turned his attention to Leah's twin sister, asking "do you like to play golf as well?"
Lexa gave a wry smile and said in Spanish "Maso Minos.., more or less." she laughed glad to know the men had no Idea who she was.
Then Camacho said "I do not see a ring on your finger, Lexa, does that mean you yourself are not married?"
"No!" Leah laughed, for the thought of marriage was like using a broken pencil.., pointless "No sir, I am sane and single!" she retorted emphatically. Now here is when the wine began to soak into her brain and Lexa felt very enlivened and flirtatious again, so she turned to Philippe, she was only just 30 years of age and he was nearing 50, but Phillipe was in great shape, tall, handsome and distinguished, and had made quite a good impression on Miss Lexa, so she asked the good looking, older male the dreaded question "And you Phillipe.., are you a single man?"
Phillipe was flattered to have such a young and vibrant woman ask about his situation so he gave a boyish, bashful smile, blushing as he spoke telling her "In.., a way."
"Oh, no..," Lexa responded "Well, sounds like there is a story there if you ask me." Lexa laughed a little disappointed, for it was not that she wouldn't sleep with a married man, Lexa just preferred not to.
"I would rather talk about it later.., needles to say, I have moved out of the house and have been staying at this hotel for the past 3 weeks." Phillipe paused then added "Though I really feel the marriage is over between us, just not legally."
"I see..," Lexa replied then another brief silence came over the table as they all took a few quiet moments to savor their expertly prepared, sumptuous meal. Lexa noticed Camacho was not wearing a wedding ring, but neither was Phillipe, but that didn't mean a God damn thing, so she asked "Tell me, Camacho, I assume a handsome and talented man, such as yourself, must also have a family.., and your wife.., where is she?"
Camacho turned and with a straight face said "Oh, who can say? But she is probably somewhere.., down on her knees." Camacho gave a serious look then burst out laughing.
This set the table in an uproarious laugh together as the other patrons gave a few disappointing looks. So after a nice long lunch was had between them, after much delightful conversation and repartee, Leah and Lexa were shocked to learn they had just spent the last four hours with the men and it was now nearly five in the p.m and they were in no condition to drive back out to the country. As Camacho insisted on paying the bill, Leah and Lexa were quite full of food, and way too much wine, so Phillipe suggested they all go up to the roof top pool to relax in one of the cabanas to get some fresh air and order some coffee. However when the group headed towards the elevator Lexa mentioned she was having a stomach ache.
"Oh, I have just the thing, an 'herbal' remedy." Phillipe gave her a nudge and a wink.
"What do yo mean?" Lexa looked a little confused in her inebriated state.
"I am asking if you want to go down to my suite and smoke a joint with me?" Camacho said blatantly.
Here Lexa's green eyes lit up like a Christmas tree and she had a grin from ear to ear and she exclaimed "Oh that is just the thing I need!" then she took Phillipe by the hand as they went on the elevator going down and Leah and Camacho went up the other elevator together, finally alone, uncertain of what the night would bring.
